FlatironDragados officially opened its new corporate headquarters in Metro Atlanta, marking a defining milestone in the company's evolution as the leading North American infrastructure builder. The headquarters places the company in the heart of one of the nation's most dynamic business regions and reinforces its long-term commitment to Georgia and the broader Southeast.
Built on the successful integration of Flatiron Construction and Dragados North America, FlatironDragados brings together exceptional expertise, resources and talent to deliver some of the continent's most complex and consequential infrastructure projects. The grand-opening celebration brought together clients, public officials, industry partners, community leaders and employees from across North America. Featured speakers included Meg Pirkle, Chief Engineer of the Georgia Department of Transportation; John Park, Mayor of Brookhaven; representatives from Dawson County High School Amy Smith and Thad Hulsey; and FlatironDragados leaders Javier Sevilla, Richard Grabinski, Mirsad Hairlahovic, Dale Nelson and Stephanie Hun.
To commemorate the headquarters opening and translate the milestone into a lasting community investment, FlatironDragados donated two specialized equipment machinery simulators to Dawson County High School for use in its Career, Technical and Agricultural Education program.
The simulators will give students hands-on experience with technology used in modern construction and help them build practical skills while exploring careers in equipment operations, skilled trades, engineering, project management and heavy civil construction. The donation reflects FlatironDragados' commitment to education, workforce development and the communities where its employees live and work.
During the open house, guests explored themed spaces highlighting safety, innovation, engineering, people and culture, and projects. The experience demonstrated how FlatironDragados combines local market knowledge, broad technical expertise and the resources of a global organization to build the infrastructure that keeps people connected, economies moving and communities resilient.
