CIMIC wins new residential project in India

The project, known as Elan The Emperor, will be developed by Leighton Asia in the same area where it is currently building an eight-tower complex, Elan The Presidential. The contract involves construction of 10 towers, each approximately 145 metres tall, across a built-up area of around 490,000 square metres. Juan Santamaría, CEO of the ACS Group and Executive Chairman of CIMIC, said: “Securing further work for the Elan Group is a sign of Leighton Asia’s commitment to safety and operational excellence. We are pleased to be providing another premium residential project for the growing population of the region.” The scope of work for this IGBC LEED Gold-targeted development includes civil and structural works and management of subcontractors. Construction is set to commence in September 2025 and be completed in 2030. Western Sydney International Airport Meanwhile, works are progressing steadily at the new Western Sydney International Airport in Australia, which is expected to serve over 80 million passengers and become the region’s leading airport. The 3.7-kilometre main runway has already been completed, and the opening is scheduled for 2026.
